Glee - Emma

Nu är jag på säsong 2, avsnitt 5 av Glee. Emma sjunger så sjukt bra. Där har vi en röst som inte är som alla andras :-D

I onsdags var jag och fikade med Johanna på Thelins. Så mysigt!  Längtar redan tills vi ses igen.

Sen var jag och Jens till hans mamma i skogås och åt världens bästa rullader och hade jättetrevligt. Kvällen avslutades med hemmagjord glass och rulltårta (och vågen säger error), framför United – City matchen.

Och igår så var jag och jobbade från 13-22. Så kul att komma tillbaka till jobbet om än bara för en dag. Det var Golden Retriever, glaukom, diabetes och påkörningar på schemat.

De hade även en mops inne :-D världens sötaste lilla giiis!

Älskar verkligen att jobba på Albano.

Idag ska jag ut på stan och göra lite ärenden och kanske ordna med lite överraskningar till min älskling som är i skolan idag.

Har inget SL kort så det blir långa promenader, skönt :-)

Jag ska till Danderyds Djursjukhus – Albano redan imorgon!!! Ska skriva på anställningsavtal och även vara med djursjukvårdarna under dagen. Gud va spännande!

Vart tvungen att googla för att se hur internet beskriver hur man göra en intravenös injektion. Och fann inget som jag inte visste sedan tidigare… Teorin är enkel, men praktiken är en annan femma.

How to Give an Intravenous Injection

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Pick a rubber tubing tourniquet since these hold self tightening loops that can easily slip off the arm when done. This type is preferable due to the ease of use, but there are other types that can work just as well.

  2. Step 2

    Wash your hands with an antibacterial soap and clean the injection area with alcohol or site specific antimicrobial swabs. This part of the procedure helps to decrease the rate of infection.

  3. Step 3

    Tie the tourniquet (tryckförband) around the arm so that the veins rise to the surface for easy view. This allows a choice of which veins are easiest to insert the needle into. If this is tied too tight, the more delicate veins can sustain damage, making them useless for your injection.

  4. Step 4

    Insert the cannula or needle at a 45 degree angle into the vein. This will allow you to inject medication into the vein with the blood flow (towards the heart) and allow for best administration.

  5. Step 5

    Pull back on the plunger after insertion into the vein to test for a flow of blood. If no blood is pulled back, then you need to remove the needle and try again as it is not in the vein. Blood that has a bright red color and is foamy is in the artery; remove the needle immediately.

  6. Step 6

    Remove the tourniquet after inserting the needle into the vein or your vein might burst from pressure that builds up. Slowly push the plunger of the syringe to distribute the medication evenly. When done, pull out the needle and apply pressure to the area with a gauze pad.
