Today we got the biggest shock of all. Pharmacology test time, and we usually have MCQ and on material that is familiar. BUT today we got a test of 50% open-ended, 50% MCQ with 10 alternatives to each question and on characteristics that was so detailed that we didn’t even have it in our notes sometimes. And if that wasnt enough, we got negative marking if we answer the MCQ questions wrong.
I swear that 20 minutes after the beginning of the test, more than the halft of the class gave upp. We were trained to recognize the drugs not to list them. We were trained to know general characteristics not tiny details. We thought that we have the information in our notes, but sometimes that wasn’t even enough.
So what Im doing right now? Im rearranging my pharmacology notes, adding missing bits and pieces, googling some mysterious drugs. Trying a new method to remebering more, and more details – diagram form.
PÅ’t igen bara!!!
